Historic Fort Myers

The historic McGregor corridor and downtown Fort Myers area is a wonderful place to call home.  Every street is unique and every home has its own unique and individual flair and style.  Tree lined streets are pet walking, bike riding, and just plain ole walking friendly.  Thomas Edison thought highly enough of this part of town to make it his winter time home.  The Edison and Ford Estates still have daily tours and offer great sites for passer by-ers.    The brick paved street, redeveloped downtown area is full of retail and terrific dining opportunities.  Fort Myers Country club was also recently redesigned and is open to the public 365 days a year.  It is a walker friendly course if you prefer to get your exercise while playing golf.  The choices for schools in this part of town are first class.  Three extraordinary elementary schools to choose from as well as first rate middle schools and high schools.

House prices range from the low 200,000’s to multi million dollar properties.
